From what i understand, the woman driver's foot slipped off the brake and got caught between the gas and brake pedals. In one of the inside camera angles you can see the back tire spinning out.

horn blasting is fuggin awesome... the best is to get somebody in a tunnel/parking garage. the sound is exponentially jarring. at IUB we went around w/ a foghorn and silly string... combo'd all the brahs outside their frats (in a Prius, no less)
