Median Sternotomy (Opening the ribcage through the sternum to get to the heart). The saw is at 2:20. Me in a couple of days, getting a tune-up and oil change

I'm so glad that video of Drave's future vacation at the hospital had no sound. I can watch surgery videos just fine, but if I had to listen to the grind of the saw against the bone, or the excess blood being sucked up... ugh!

Good luck with the surgery. I hope you get lots of fun drugs to help you forget you had your freaking chest ripped open and your heart prodded and fiddled with. On the bright side, you may end up with a nice present like a flashy ring or Rolex.

...On the downside, it could end up atop your aorta.
