And Prince has no class. Did you see the incident with the Dodgers? That was a shame. I really like Prince, he's an amazing hitter, but some of the things he does are atrocious. I blame his family life, and how badly either his mother or father, depending on who you believe, fucked their kids up.

yeah hes an idiot. I guess things werent great for him growing up. His mother and father had some problems which would cause how much of an idiot he is.

This is from his fathers (Cecil) Wiki page. I guess he had problems with gamblings and his wife but he never showed it on the field like his son does.

In October 2004, The Detroit News reported that Fielder was suffering from domestic and gambling problems. They relied on court documents from Fielder's divorce and a lawsuit brought against him by Trump Plaza Hotel and Casinos in New Jersey describing debts to various casinos, credit card companies and banks. [3] Fielder later filed a libel suit against Gannett, the parent company of The Detroit News, and the lead reporter, Fred Girard, accusing them of slander and defamation of character. The suit sought US$25 million in damages and fees. The trial court dismissed the suit and the Michigan Court of Appeals affirmed the decision.[1]

Fielder's son Prince is a first baseman with the Milwaukee Brewers. Fielder was originally involved in his son's professional career, even negotiating his first contract. Because Cecil insisted upon getting a part of Prince's salary as a reward for assisting him, Prince and his family are no longer on speaking terms with Cecil.[4] On September 25, 2007, Prince hit his 50th home run of the season, making Cecil and Prince the only father/son duo in Major League history to each reach the milestone.

After managing the South Coast League's Charlotte County Redfish in 2007, Fielder became the manager of the Atlantic City Surf of the Canadian-American Association of Professional Baseball in 2008.
