Yeah exactly. I know Ive seen the video here before, its of a guy that gets put into an holding cell or something at a police station and he pulls out a huge revolver and shoots himself in the head. Well that video was released because the guy had shot two sheriffs and then they caught him. His family thought the cops executed him but they had the video to prove it. He shot those cops about 10 miles from where I live.

How the hell did he get a gun into the cell? Fucking disturbing. I like how the cop comes in, puts the keys and shit on the table, leaves, and then is like "well I guess I can take the keys off the table!"

Sucks to say, but growing up in the ghetto and with the internet at my fingertips has made me almost immune to that shit. All I think when I see it is Im just glad he didnt shoot any more cops.

After working 15 years as a trauma nurse, I'm pretty much the same. Doing hospital administrative work now, and I tell some of my co-workers some of the stories from my time in the ER. It's when i see their reactions, that I realize just how numb to this kind of stuff it makes you.

Absolutely crazy severe storm that went through Downtown Austin in May 2008. I remember this storm, it lasted only about 2-3 minutes but it was probably the most intense storm I ever saw.

News coverage as the storm almost destroys the weather center:
