I was born in 1985, and I only remember a lot these shows since they were brought up (aside from some, like He-Man, Inspector Gadget, Rescue Rangers and Voltron) and it's rather eerie to go "Oh, I remember seeing that!" even though the memory is vague.

What's more eerie is that, as a child, I used to have a recurring series of nightmares, one of which was sitting in my room, staring at my ventilation grate and suddenly being dragged into a cruel underworld that was dark until a horde of demons pounced upon me and I woke up. After seeing the intro for "The Littles" I finally know where that nightmare came from.

Watching all those clips has been one hell of a trippy (albeit fun) experience.

I know it's not a 1980's cartoon, but this should have got an honorable mention.

Also, the intro for the GI Joe movie was so much cooler than the TV intro.

Same with the Transformer movie.

GI JOE movie intro owns, sadly it doesnt hold a candle to Transformers.

lol I just rewatched that Defenders of the Earth. Christ it sounds like it was made in a bathroom on a 3 dollar budget.
