Ive never seen or read up much on Beowolf, and it may be the size of the video, but is it supposed to look that fake? Everything outside closeup shots looked like something from Shrek.

They should've used live actors, IMO. I realize that this was supposed to raise the industry bar, but it looks like crap (again, IMO).

I love that Grendel's mother (Jolie) has high heels for feet. Heh, editing team oopsie?

Just read the actual epic of Beowulf; it's so much more enjoyable... in a savagely eloquent kind of way.

I'm guessing you didn't see it in theaters or even the movie at all. Also, I can't believe someone is recommending the actual epic poem. After seeing the changes that Avary and Gaiman made which actually improved the story, I'm wondering why their version wasn't always the original version.

...I've read this "mistake" pointed out by several people in different forums. What exactly is the mistake? It's obviously a stylish choice of their own, whether people like it or not.
