actually they're closer to civets and felines than canines. it has to do with their legs. regardless i still treat them as though they were dogs. scavenging, clumsy, shit eaters

From Merriam Webster:

civet:
1. any of various Old World carnivorous mammals (family Viverridae) with long bodies, short legs, and a usually long tail

In today's useless fact: David Eddings uses the term "civet cat" to basically describe a, or a cousin of skunk, (edit) but civet != skunk by itself (/edit). (See Belgarath the Sorcerer for more details.)

I saw the lion footage on a nature program a while back. And yea it all happened within 24 hour time period from what I remember.

The narrator could'nt believe his luck capturing all the action. He also mentioned the Lion snapped the neck on it like a twig after that take down (first one during the day).

Great stuff. Wish there was more...

Holy Crap, Its that Killer Whale Movie!!

I remember a fuck load of time ago I was somewhere with a bunch of my family as a little kid and they were watching this movie where some killer whale was killing a bunch of people.. Been wondering forever what movie that was.
