It's the same guy as the above video. There's a ton of his stuff on youtube, pretty fascinating, even if it's not all real.

I buy the russian scam thing a little more, though I wouldn't be surprised if it was fake too. I just can't imagine someone being able to break 'me' that easily into giving them my stuff. I can remember sometimes when someone would fuck up a handshake and I'd be more annoyed that confused.

Assuming it's not a set-up that wouldn't be much more than a relatively simple sleight of hand (DC 30) move. After the initial chess trick the rest of it breaks down into the same sealed envelope trick we've seen a dozen times from a dozen different magicians. He throws the "oops, I goofed" thing in there for a little extra panache even though he already knew the outcomes and simply wrote them down.
