With labeling Australia Iran/France/North Korea, I image you'd have to go through a LOT of people before you'd find people who weren't like, 'WTF?'. I can see people getting led to Iraq/Iran getting switched up, but I'm really tempted to call the video a fake.

I don't really want to do the research to find out if those were real interviews, or just spoof interviews, but I wouldn't rule out either answer.

I think it's forgivable to not know where Iraq, North Korea or France are on a global map, but people who don't have a steady grasp on it should really answer, "I don't know enough to answer your question.".

I know if someone asked me who we should invade next, that's what I would say.

The sad thing about those interviews is that they don't display the number of people interviewed(nor an accurate sample of the interviewed people).

It does make for some entertaining journalism though, if a bit irresponsible.

Yeah, it's true. But the people outside the group of those interviewed(IE: anyone not in the US) looks at it and says, "Haw haw, those yanks suck at knowledge".

It is unfortunate that groups of people are misled by the media so easily, I've had far too many frusturating conversations with non-US that are amazed I'm not an incompetent yokel. The reverse is true, the US is led to believe that all french are pussies, for example, just because they happen to be a well known country that has a terrible war record.

Yay educational system. Not knowing where Andorra is is forgivable. Not know where France is is functionally retarded.

I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt to the people in the video, and say that they assumed the big, labeled country was simply a cutout to give a higher level of detail of that specific country, and when asked to put a flag on the country they assumed that the host wanted it on the large cutout of the country, not relating the physical location on the map to the global location.
