+1 Internets | I have seen a few of those crashes before, Actually a few of them when they happened. There are a few people in those clips that must have died instantly. That Nascar one at the end no one got hurt in, It was at a Busch series race at Talladega, that guy in the #2 car that flips the most walked away without a scratch. Im glad it wasn't me though pretty amazing set of crashes. |

+2 Internets | I think Indy drivers are nuts. I mean they have almost no protection around them, and if they crash.....their car's just disintegrate. And how fast do they go up to, 200+ right? I know they take lots of precautions and there isnt an insane amount of big crashes, but man just seems so scary. Heh and all this coming from a guy that spent 3 months in a hospital after a motorcycle accident...so whatever. |

+1 Internets | the #2 car is actually Johnny Sauter, that was a Busch series race that happened in. It's still amazing that he walked away like no big deal. Rusty was involved in a crash i watched years ago where he went end over end at the start finish line and finished 8th. Which Ironically was his highest finish ever at Talladega lol. F-1 Is the Cream of the crop when it comes to driver protection, They amazingly have not had a death in years. IRL had a guy die i think 2 years ago testing at Indy, Tony Renna was his name i believe They showed it on ESPN of all places the guy blew a tire and went through a chain link fence at about 205MPH. I believe the most Auto deaths in racing occur in rally racing, They slide and miss and drive off a ravine or something crazy like that. Kez |
