Haha awesome. You basically got their board shut down cause no one gives a fuck enough to go through their "screening" process now.

.

I acomplished what i set out to do. I placed that link into certain forums where i knew a lot of people would speak out. Here, my sever forum, Zek forums, and Sk boards. The eq comunity took to that board like wild raving dogs. Some people spoke with restraint others let it rip. Either way our voices needed to be heard.

I think she will open it again so I will be watching and waiting.

I said it before and ill say it again people who want to restrict your gaming need to be confronted. They want to regulate what you do and thats a no no.

EDIT: ugh...original post was playing devils advocate but leaning on our side more, but after checking out the site I have decided she really needs to get a brain.

I guess ill have to be the sensitive pussy here but, maybe shes just trying to find a purpose in her life after her son killed himself. Maybe she does in fact blame herself for his death and is using that board to try and prove otherwise. If you guys spam the shit out of her, whats being accomplished? her son is still dead and shes still heartbroken. Its not for her to decide what goes on in video games, so maybe just let her have her board. Its really not doing any harm. Not everyone is religious, but some are and we should at least respect that.
She may be stupid but she didnt come to this board and try and make us pray to jebus to stop Everquest either.

I read some of her posts by her and they are not nearly as bad as you all make them seem.

Just because she was a day late and a dollar short on parenting doesn't mean running that website should be a cakewalk. It's full of terrible advice, misinformation, borrowed gimmicks, and pretend christian mantras.

If someone tells you that they suspect an addiction to something then you should persuade them to find professional advice so that an addictive personality doesn't create greater danger, later in life. Filling parents and addictive people full of bullshit from a good housekeeping magazine is fucked up; no matter what kind of crutch carrying, evangelist, side of an oatmeal packet, flag they do it under.

And if directly breeding ignorance doesn't bother you, consider the indirect fuel available to political exploitation. Plenty of politicians are just itching to violate your rights so that they will score big with the misguided, blasphemous religious quotes pamphlet, half-assed parent demographic. There is a wealth of votes to earn there. Do a search on Elizabeth's lawyerJack Thompson.

That page can handle some speed bumps. Though with the new messageboard security it should all be sunshine and retardation from here on out. No doubt they ignore any voice of reason that plagues their contact boxs.

The fact that Schar owned you all is the best part of this thread.

And jesus, less caffine.. or a less stressful game. I've met dudes ranting on pcp that came off more mellow and self aware.

I gotta believe after that some of you dudes would maim stray cats just for the hell of it, assuming you ever actually left your computer rooms.

It is sorta funny tho. She prolly didn't have a clue what 'board troll' meant last month.. and you unleashed a large portion of the EQ underbelly on her. Heh. The zek boards? ouch.

Im sure her son was completely normal before he started playing EQ.

Thing is, she shouldn't be blaming herself. Everyone is responsible for their own actions. The kid was fucked up in the head. Not her fault. She should take her own advice..
