Some friends and I went on a road trip to Niagara Falls for a few days for the hell of it. It looks awesome during the winter, check it:

I'm not a psychologist, it's just a name.

You think poking fun at a picture is a comparison to an ink blot test or something? If so, then I know exactly what it says about me.

hey PT... you stay on the American or Canadian side?

I noticed something while I was on the Canadian side... their sense of distance is fubared...

we stayed at a hotel, advertised as 2 blocks from the falls...

it might have been 2 blocks horizontally... but it was like, 5 blocks of walking... and down a street on an angle that'd put California streets to shame...

Yeah, we stayed on the Canadian side. For one night in a hotel about 10 blocks from the falls, then we continued to Toronto for another night.

Yeah the hotels probably lie in their advertisments to get more business. There is some messed up stuff up there near the falls, heh.

We managed to get down to the water where I don't think you are really allowed to go, it was nuts, there were like 8-foot spikes of ice up in the air since the water was so turbulent as it froze and was broken up and froze again etc...

And I won $300 (paid for my trip) at the casino doing a simple blackjack card counting technique, still took some luck though.

Damn you black jack players!

I've played twice. First time I lost two hands in a row, goodbye $20. Next time I put down 10, hit blackjack, picked up my 15$ extra and left the table. Figure I just abuot broke even, and with all the free drinks at the casino I've had, I know I'm ahead f- the police.

Thats aweosme you one though man. Care to share the simple card counting secret?

AY chamooooooo

Yeah you just keep track of the number of "small cards" (6 or lower) left versus the number of cards left that are worth ten, and then place bets depending on the dealer's showing card and the likelyhood of you getting a 10 card on a hit. That's pretty much it. It gets alot more complicated from there though if you really wanna count cards.
