I live in Chicago and fly over to WPB every few months to get away for a few days. I don't see how they are miserable, both places are swell.

Cleveland I can see, but Toledo and Akron? Always have a good time when I go to either cities and never noticed anyone being miserable. Plus there is plenty of great places to work at in both cities.

There is your answer regarding Miami being #1.

I'd gladly trade Indianapolis for Miami. Give me a beach and warm weather any fucking day.

The commute for work in Miami is... a bag of dicks. An hour to an an hour and a half is normal to get to a job that is less than 25 miles away.

Im from south florida. and i live in California now. When i go back to visit, i get really depressed. Things are very slow in south florida, and everyone walks around with this sense of entitlement. and i NEVER go to miami, im from ft. laud, and miami is just a SHIT hole.

south beach is beautiful and where all the rich people are, but over biscayne bay.....fucking rotting turd of a city.

Political corruption is one of the factors.

Yeah, but Chicagoans aren't miserable because of corruption, they embrace it as part of their identity.
