How do you take a generic screenshot. I thought it was PrtScn, but if it is, I can't figure out where the HELL the shots go to.

Print Screen, the image goes in your clipboard

To your Clipboard. Paste it in Paint.

You can also do either Ctrl-PrtScrn or Alt-PrntScrn (one or the other, I cant remember which) do take a picture of only your current active window.

If you are trying to take a screenshot of a video, you may have to download a screen-capture program, as some videos have odd ways of presenting shit to the screen.
