Switched to Mac 2 years ago and haven't looked back. Yes I still use windows, but that's because Boot Camp works perfectly and it's easy. I love being able to toggle between Leopard and XP so easily.

Yes, most Mac computer owners are pretentious and snobby, but a lot are just intelligent people that like all the things Leopard can do and like the feel of it.

Also, YES the customer service IS amazing. I have the NEWEST Macbook Pro for FREE because the one I had from two years ago was experiencing some problems while IN WINDOWS with a blank screen. So I emailed Steve Jobs, got an email back from one of his assistants, then a phone call, then I walked into the store and got a brand new laptop and they transferred everything or free.

However, I will say that overall Mac service/quality has gone down over the last few years...something to do with success I think.

Also, I think the reason you're so mad at the ad is because it's so effective. Deep down inside, you're thinking "mother fuck, it is true, but Windows 7 really is fucking amazing, but their argument is going to trick people! FUCK!"

My mac allows me to train Slate in commonlands on the EQmac server without having to duel boot. Oh and it organizes my iphone like a charm.

I despise Apple and their business model, but it doesn't take a retard to see why they do what they do and why it works. It DOES take a retard to buy anything from them though.

What kills me about apple is a friend of mine has a macbook pro that he boot camped (I have just a regular macbook, I have boot camped it but I don't usually use it for gaming) that he uses for gaming. And games run significantly better while running in windows on the mac. It's quite amusing. Such as WoW. Of which blizzard did specifically make a mac client.

But as someone with a macbook and an iphone. I have to say fuck apple. They are a shitty company that make some beautiful products. But read some of their developer ToS's for when you want to make things like iphone apps and you realize it's entirely about their bottom line. They treat you like shit. Have arbitrary and stupid reasons that they will reject your applications.

Their commercials are unbelievably bad. Microsofts are usually just bad in a...uncomfortably bad way. Apples are so pretentious and snotty that it makes me regret owning one of their products. And it builds people like my friends wife who is one of those pretentious tree hugging, hipster bitches that you just want to punch in the face, who will extol the virtues of mac based on those commercials, which the comic above (I know, it's ctrl alt del, already a pretentious douchebag which makes that comic particularly ironic) is exactly why they are so stupid.

However, using my macbook is really nice. Multitouch is something apple is killing PCs with. It works great. Using it as an internet/music/unity3d machine it works great. Though mac mouse cursor movement is..fucked up.

This. Apple stuff is overpriced and the OS is a flaming pile of dog turds. All the disgusting little things Apple pulls is pretty nauseating too and they don't care about hurting their customers when they do it as long as it gets them more. They changed the mouse feel from what is pretty much accepted as the standard so it would be different than a PC and don't allow you to change it back, you need to download a program so the mouse doesn't feel like shit and it's useable. They release a major update to iTunes that crashes Vista, the only fucking thing I've seen that could take down Vista. That just slipped by them somehow... yeah, because it was a 100% failure rate any time you ran it, totally see how that got by them.

Don't get me started on the iPhone. The only good thing about it, the store, yes, Apple got one thing right, the selling part. Big surprise.
