| Makes me wonder why Microsoft doesn't fire back with their own line of commercials to embarass the shit out of Apple. Sure, I've seen a couple of "I'm a PC" commercials, but nothing like the shit Apple is doing. |

| This should help sum up apple products.

That ad campaign failed miserably. The apple commercials are (at least) an attempt at humor, the laptop hunters commercials just came off as really bitter and "in your face". | |

| I think either Bill gates or the MS board has been heavily invested in apple for years. I can't remember where I read that article, but the whole thing is just a scam from what I recall..

| I can dance if I want to | Bill Gates invested 150~mil back in...uh 97/98? When Steve Jobs first returned to Apple. It was significant then since the company was only worth a few billion at the time, now apple is worth alot more compared to Microsoft(200bil~ vs 300 bil~). So yes, it's true. |

| I use a home-built win7 PC desktop for gaming, but for all of my grad school work the macbook pro works flawlessly. Sure the commercials stereotype the typical mac user as a suburu driving, emo music listening, tree hugging hippie nut, but then again most people who use Windows arent an old office-space-red-stapler guy either. Both are mainstream for usability in web browsing, office documents, chatting etc. Mac is definitely a premium for hardware, but the mac OS itself is $30, while windows is $200-300 for a full version + cheaper hardware depending on build. What makes me love the mac the most over windows is the interface and its features, including all of the touchpad commands which are epic compared to Windows for being able to quickly control what you are doing. Its day and night difference.
