| Pandora! I'm sure this has been mentioned somewhere before since the search yielded a fair amount of results, however I wanted to bring it back up being as how awesome it is! Pandora Radio - Listen to Free Internet Radio, Find New Music Great site if you work on your computer or play lots of video games on it. Sadly since the population has been lacking on the site as of lately, they started adding a cap to the music you can listen to in 1 month, and have to pay a dollar if you go over the limit to continue listening. But it's free for a good long time. !

It's realy a great website indeed, discovered many new bands thanks to it, and their system works the best, compared to other websites like lastfm or grooveshark. The only bad thing about pandora is that it's access is limited to north america only (? or not even working in Canada seen previous user's post). They'd make a lot more money if they didn't restrict the access. It has something to do with licensing from what they said when they started blocking foreign IPs ; but then howcome sites like deezer, lastfm, grooveshark, and pretty much all the others can just broadcast all over the world ?

+5 Internets | I'm a big fan of Grooveshark -- Listen to Free Music Online -- Internet Radio -- Free MP3 Streaming Works a bit differently than pandora, but i like being able to choose what i want to listen too. Or listen to other peoples playlists.

+21 Internets | Can you choose a genre or anything on thesixtyone? It just started playing something so I was like meh and closed it. I like last.fm because I can listen to what I want to and then it will tell me recommends based on what I like, and so far they've been pretty dead on for recommendations. Grooveshark is nice to play a song when you don't have your music with you, in case you want to show someone else or something. |
