hah perfect timing. After a long day at work, I end up getting stuck behind this lady in the "speedy check" isle. After I switch lanes and snap a few pic's, I ask her how many items she thinks she has in here basket, she replies..."I aint kept count"...I then tell her this is the 20 items or less line and that she clearly has more than 20 items....she says.... "Well them other lines is too long"

Not only was it the first of the month when she got her food stamps, not only is she a fatfuck lazy ass riding around in a motorized shopping cart, she's doing it all while spending my hard earned tax dollars on grape soda.

I asked the cashier what they can do about it, they said their hands are tied and would lose their job.

Wheres the grape soda unless your making the assumption she's going to make some fresh from that bag of green grapes.... On a more serious note, I've been behind people with 2 full carts with a book full of coupons. I've even seen people go through an entire cart on a set budget get down to the very last few items and haggle over which ones to get and what to leave. There's not much you can do though, if your in a hurry though I suggest using there self-checkout lanes thats what I tend to do. Not to proud or lazy to do it myself and save a hell of alot of time in the process.

Oh well, and to respond to thread. I hate going to wal mart, even here in Utah it's horrendous. I only use it as a last resort for electronics.

They have a higher percentage, yes, but you didn't disprove me. There are more (by number, 24 million+) poor white people than black people (9.5 million). Thus, more people to shop at Walmart, since Walmart doesn't care about what percentage of people comes through it's doors, just the volume of people that do.

And you don't have to be poor to shop at Walmart, thus, those who have money and are looking to save it (white people) shop there more frequently.

Even further than that, there are a lot of urban areas (you know, where most blacks live) that vehemently oppose Walmart moving into their areas. See: Chicago. I'd say there are more mexicans than blacks who shop at Walmarts, both of which are dwarfed by white trash (though like you say a lot of middle class whites also shop there to be stingy).
