| A buddy of mine worked as a manager at a theater during high school. He had to fire an employee for telling a guy buying a Sixth Sense ticket "Enjoy the show, Bruce Willis is dead the entire movie". He said it pretty loud, so everyone in about a 10 foot radius of the ticket booth heard it as well. They ended up have to give about 50 free movie passes away to calm down the bitching.

+7 Internets | Ok, I guess I will tell my Spoiler Story. I really dont have one that shocked me beyond belief, though I was heart broken Aeris died, it wouldnt have gotten to me as much as if Tifa would have died. Anyways, to the point. My grandmother is a pretty cool grandmother. She has a SNES, PS1 and a PS2 and wants a PS3 so bad, she could probably kill for it. She likes a lot of the modern action movies, but she is a sucker for John Travolta. She is handicapped and cant walk, so most movies she has to wait until DVD release (at the time, it was VHS release). She was wanting to see Phenomenon really bad. I had already seen it and she asked me how it was and I answered "he had some sort of weird cancer and died". She, still to this day, is pissed off about it. She will actually call me and bitch at me for ruining that movie for her. If she catches it on TV, i will hear about it for a couple of weeks. I still cant help but laugh when she does bitch at me. Anyways, the reason why I brought up video games and FF7 was because she actually got to Aeris' death before I did and she actually 'ruined' it for me to get me back for what i did with the Phenomenon movie. I was disappointed, but it doesnt bother me like what i did to her. I love my grandmother. She is probably the coolest grandmother a guy could have.

I usually get the same effect or more when I read the actual scene, I dunno, I'm a tragedy nerd and since most spoilers are tragedy-based I tend to just get excited and giddy if the scene is coming up, not "oh man I already know what happens". There are definitely some things you do not want spoiled though, like Memento. |
