honestly i'm somewhat hurt that so many of you are against my campaign for an updated laptop. don't you guys look forward to playing diablo 3 and starcraft 2 with your old buddy kegkilla in the near future? apparently not as much as i hoped.

asus laptop: take the replacement and sell it for cash on eBay, get a real brand and cross fingers that it doesn't have multiple mfg flaws or flat out poorly engineered graphics cards. It is not asus' fault directly, but put all their shit together and it just doesn't work sometimes.

I did that with a toshiba satellite. the laptop was too beasty for its own good, would melt and the mobo would bend even with coolers going. went to microcenter (yeah, it was a gift) and forced them to give me a brand new laptop in box even past warranty. ebayed it and paid a bit more for something with a non-rang rang department and shoddy components.

edit: Also, get a fuckin external hard drive so "all your data" doesn't get lost when the computer breaks. we all know you kicked all 4 laptops

It's probably because most of us hate you, hate people like you, and think you're a total fucking waste of space. There are people who successfully return underwear with shitstains to walmart BECAUSE of the shitstains. Their success doesn't justify their actions.

If I was them, I would only replace you with a new system if you've had 7 depot repairs that were covered under the warranty as technical issue. Any physical issues and I would've told you to eat a dick. I handle the "Critical Issues" at work regarding systems I normally don't upgrade a customer unless they had a shitty out of box experience or had a bunch of repairs in a year as long as the first issue was reported within 30 days. Customers who punch their LCD and demand me to honor it under the warranty get "lawls" from my end and nothing is fixed unless they pay for the replacement LCD.
