Setting up a GM account.

mysql> INSERT into account (name, password, status, minilogin_ip) values ("ACCOUNTNAMEHERE", "PASSWORDGOESHERE", 250, "127.0.0.1");

The above is for PEX. If you have AX Classic installed (which you would if you are following this post) then you need to run HeidiSQL (included with the frontend, under tools) and then edit the account entry. Without a series of screenshots, that isn't going to make much sense if you have no idea what I am talking about but that is the part of the SQL db that you need to edit to change an account from normal (default) to GM status.

Welp I was able to get SOLO,and LAN up and running.

Accessing my server over the internet is a no go so far. frustrating because I know it is just one thing I probly need to change

I just wish there was a way to instantly pop your spellbook and items. For example, I want to play a level 50 and solo some random shit that was hard and rare back in the day. Cazic/LGuk named mobs/quad kiting/PoFear with bots/etc.

In order to do so now, I have to summon every class spell, mem them, look up appropriate gear, summon and equip it. Some stuff is easy (epic 1.0) but other stuff is hard (what earrings was I wearing?).

I know it is asking a lot considering how much has already been done but it would be nice if there was some kind of template one could access to create a generally well equipped level 50. Nothing insane but would save a ton of time doing stuff that is amazingly redundant.

Not sure about this one, but on the EQ servers I GM'd on you could do #scribespell [level] and it would scribe all class spells up to that level for your character, even some spells that aren't meant for players.

This only scribes the spellid

For example #scribespell 51 would scribe Glimpse to your spell book because 51 is the spellid for Glimpse.

The way you do it for multiple spells for your class is like this...

#scribespells 51 1 (note the plural)

That will scribe all spells for your class between level 51 and 1 to your spell book.
