Wow, TPB is about as big as Facebook. That's awesome.

I can't believe in the world we live in, AOL still has that kind of market share.

When I was planning my trip to Japan, I saw that map for the first time and it seemed like it was going to be a nightmare. When I got there, I realized how amazingly badass the Tokyo subway system was. I'd kill for something like that over here.

My aunt, who has had a cable modem for the past 6 years, still opens AOL to browse. I can't talk her out of it

I can understand how they came up with the popular sites, but how do they come up with the points in which they intersect?

I could probably make something similar to this all based on gaming sites.

Do you mean sites that are 'stops' for multiple lines? I imagine they worked up a list of big names/popular stuff and at the same time the main 'genres'/line colors, decided which sites fit which genre and started to work out a rough lay out, tweaking things as they went to make everything fit.

The more I look at it, the more I am impressed with it.

edit: My lazy ass didn't read the explanation until looking at it again this latest time. Looks like they used the actual layout of the Tokyo system as a base, and then adjusted to make things fit as they ... saw fit.
