Hmm I can see that being true. Is WWE as big as it was say back in 1999-2000? I remember kids wearing stone cold austin T-shirts all the time. WWE seemed wildly popular at that time. By comparison, WWE seems a lot less popular now. What happened there?

Id also say that most WWE fans in the 90s, grew up and got into UFC, but I agree with Keg, UFC is more a threat to boxing then WWE. If UFC could put out a PG13 product, then WWE would be in trouble.

+1 Internets | I actually read an article on boxing/wrestling/UFC and apparently UFC has had a much greater affect on wrestling than it has boxing so far. Whether that changes in the future I don't know, but as it stands they are certainly competing directly, sport or no. |

| Wrestling went down hill when they had to change their name from WWF to wwe because of a panda........and when i turned hit 7th grade As for boxing/wrestling vs UFC boxing is more of a special thing. Big name fights come about maybe 2 times a year (im talking big name that the avg non fan like myself would hear about and/or see advertised through normal means) where as UFC is breaking into the weekly shows, reality shows, and usually promotes or makes their shows/events much more widely known. Similar to wrestling they want you to watch every week and buy their stuff (in this case all the tapout gear vs action figures and hulk masks) |

+2 Internets | I used to love wrestling, my friends dad bought us PPV every month for about 3 years. But then it got too boring about 5 years ago. Mick Foley vs Undertaker in the "Hell in a Cell" match was the best ever. Edit: Video. YouTube - ~Undertaker Vs Mankind~ (Mick Foley) *HELL IN A CELL! *
