Several of my faves have already been posted. Nostalgia-wise, however, three always strike a chord with me as they were my CRPGs of choice through the years:

Edit: Damn, Zehn beat me to BG

The gold box games pissed me off because they'd put 'fake' journal entries into the user manual and I'd spend hours checking over corner and making maps of everything just to find the talking mouse that turned into a dragon. 8(

For all 10 of us who played it

And since probably five people have played it, the intro to Phantasy Star 3. Easily the best of them all. To bad the game stunk so bad (btw, its a video of a lot of the PS3 music. Most is good tbh, but I couldn't find the intro by itself. Still worth a listen to all of it.)

Man I can't listen to those old EQ songs. I loaded up EQ a few months back and tried going back thru steamfont... just seeing my gnomish hometown again after all these years brought tears to my eyes ... wah.

But.. as far as video game songs go.... what about Hell March??

I know what you mean. I've got a huge .midi file of all the original sounds / songs without their remastering and they are great, a lil painful tho at times haha.

EQ nostalgia ftl

I have kelethin and kaladim .midi's on my phone and I frequently use them as my ringtones or text tones. It's funny when the song comes on and you can tell somebody recognizes it, but can't put their finger on it. You know that person played eq.

Magus theme from chrono trigger

Sephiroth theme from ff7

Squall and Rinoa song at end of ff8

For some reason, Tool's 46 and 2 is always in my head too, because I guess that was the album I was listening to when I played diablo 2 and this ps1 game called brigadier general or something.

That's all i've got offhand.
