+9 Internets | I can't believe I'm the only person who has linked any DKC2 music. Second best sound track (next to the obvious Chrono Trigger) overall. Gloomy forest levels Roller coaster levels Bee hive levels Lava levels

+166 Internets | Apologies for the bump, but have been playing a lot of games from my teenage years lately. I have a raging hardon for game music from that era. Descent is one of those few games that seriously, -seriously- needs a modern day remake. Best track linked though the entire album is tits. This is one of those album's that make for excellent long distance driving music. "The game" creeps the shit out of me even still whenever it comes up on my ipod. 8( Last edited by Zehn - Vhex; 06-16-2009 at 04:01 AM.. |

| Went through entire thread, surprised to see so much FFVIII music love (since most hate the game). That games music just gives me chills. Can't believe no one posted the FFIX battle theme, probably the closest thing to the classic FF sound: For SNES, the MMX series was always my favorite music: And one from recent games because the Persona 3 soundtrack was so badass: |

+286 Internets | Brings back so many memories. No credit cards, no mortgage, no car payment; just wasting away my youth in front of a Sony 27" Trinitron. Hopefully, that is what heaven will be like. Fuck dead relatives.

| Storm Eagle stage from Mega Man X, and much to my delight, Powerglove did a remix of it.

Remix of that Kraid theme. Whole site of remixes of Metroid themes, not sure if you're a metal fan though.

| Sorry, if these have been posted, but this Chrono Cross instrumental is great for chilling: And Metal Gear Solid 2's theme is great. I think the guy who did it also wrote music for the Narnia movies, Harry Gregson Williams. |

+29 Internets | Maybe it's because I spent so much time playing Herzog Zwei but:
