A hell of a lot of the songs you guys listed were redone by a band called the Minibosses. Many of you have probably heard of them, but for those that haven't, here is their myspace page with most of their really good songs. I would highly recommend listening to the Metroid theme. Probably one of my favorite all time songs ever. No, srsly.

EDIT Found the first part on youtube. Sound quality is shit. If you want to hear it clearer go to the myspace page.

I really like the old EQ music, and Planes of Power music. The Natimbi music is great too, but after PoP, nearly all of it really sucks.

Didn't see these two in the old EQ songs.

I'll never forget the first time I got a port into North Karana- it was night, and I ran up to the huge spires by the bridge to South Karana, looked up and this music started playing.

And for some reason I really liked the music from North Ro, even though it was relatively simple.

EverQuest, the music really made the game when you first began playing. Exiting Kaladim, hearing the music and the creepy night-time ambience, turning around and seeing that big fucking Dwarf statue, gives me a fucking boner. Oh the days of being innocent and pure, not jaded by years of MMO abuse. When you were level 14 and managed to patch together a full suit of bronze armor from the kindness of strangers, and those guys that bought all those bone chips. What were they thinking!? That music brings so much back!
