I suppose it falls to me to correct the shame of this thread for having made it to page 2 without a Final Fantasy Tactics composition.

Final Fantasy Tactics - Antipyretic (Just one of many on this amazing soundtrack)

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - The Tragic Prince (My personal favorite from SotN)

Chrono Cross - Scars of Time

Secret of Mana - Angel's Fear (I used to listen to the entire thing pretty much every time I loaded the game)

I saw a Double Dragon, but I preferred III over the original.

And of course all the themes in Dragon Warrior.

I hate to be cliche, but by god Final Fantasy has some amazing music.

I think the complete Chrono Trigger soundtrack is arguably the greatest ever in a video game. Also a fan of the Diablo Tristan village soundtrack, makes me want to play it again

I'm surprised there hasn't been a mention for Quake2 & Sonic Mayhem:

Operation Overlord (Gay maplestory visuals for some reason, the Q2 ones sounded tinny)

This thread turned out awesome, a lot of you have great taste in video games! I still think kefka's theme from FF3 is my favorite (I don't know why he's my favorite villain from the Super Nintendo Games). Here's the youtube:
