Online poker request

Any of you guys into online poker?

There are a bunch of people at my office who play. All of us play individually. I'm looking to see if there's a site out ther where I can set up a poker game that my co-workers can play in with me. We don't need to play for cash... but we can't download shit here because our 'puters suck.

You guys know any free sites like that? All the ones I find are either not free, require downloads, or blocked at work.

Obligatory artsy nude to say "thanks in advance".

I play on poker stars, but I imagine they're all kind of the same. You have a choice of using play chips, or real money.

I haven't seen any online texas hold'em poker apps or websites that will work past a corporate firewall. Unless your firewall admin is a retard and doesn't have every port blocked that isn't needed. Even myspace/facebook poker use a non-standard port. I don't know why someone doesn't just make one that uses SSL or regular old port 80. There be money to make in them ideas!

You could use a proxy but those are slow as shit unless you use the pay ones.

Pretty sure pokerstars works over port 443 and updates over port 80 so that should be fine as far as firewalls are concerned.

Don't you have to download pokerstars to play it? OP says they can't download.

Just cut out everything after the # sign and replace it with any of these names:

Nazoka ex. GPokr - Free Texas Holdem Poker
Kayv1
Samdog1
Shmoopy
rabb
Troubledman

If you want to get higher stakes tables eventually, just take from the top50-75 of the last month. Unfortunately you can't lock the table so eventually, if you don't fill the table with your co-workers, other people will be able to join the table. But as far as not downloading anything and making it past firewalls, this is probably your best bet. Plus you can compete with people since they have a leaderboard for every month.

this is too obvious a troll. the seriousness you pretend to have in your other posts is what got you where you are today, stick with that.

i mean, we all know that online poker matches with fake money and only your friends are rigged. hate your friends, they give you cancer.
