+27 Internets | I'm just north of Portland and we've had maybe 4 inches in the last week or so. Portland actually required chains on all freeways/highways for a day or two. We get just little enough around here where everyone flips out with snow, but it's not that rare. Plus, it may actually snow on Christmas day, or at least have snow on the ground. I don't think that's ever happened in the 22 years I've lived here. I'm hoping we get about 6 inches of standing snow, get to take the ski-trike for a spin. Plus, we get no business at work so I can just sit around all day and browse FoH. Last edited by Lonin; 12-19-2008 at 08:25 PM.. |

+6 Internets | I am originally from the Dayton area. I hear they were in the 60's today shorts and t-shirt weather. I now live in North Dakota. This will be my first winter here. Thankfully I am going home for the holidays. I hear its not the snow, but the temperature that gets you living here. We are finally in the positive single digets after being minus 15 for the past week or so. Oh and we have about a foot or snow on the ground right now. |

| The problem with Oregon, is they are fucking broke and don't take care of their roads. The 84 freeway here was nothing but compacted snow, while across the river on the 14 side which is Washington, it was just blacktop. Washington has been really great about plowing and dropping red rock, salt, chemical on the roads out here. |

+49 Internets | I remember driving home from work in CT and there was like 30 cars all backed up. My first thought was "accident", then I finally saw the cause...some car with a 'Florida' license plate floudering in the snow covered road like a moron. "ZOMG! SNOW!! NOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo"

| Send some of that snow down south a few states, we could use it in No. VA. Dreaming of a white xmas personally, this is my first year at a corporate job and I still cant believe I am going to get paid NOT to work until Jan 5th starting next Wednesday. Wouldn't mind being snowed in with some goodies to game on from the holidays for a few days. |
