| You go into these small towns in FOHGUILD and, like a lot of small towns in the INTARWEBS, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to LITTLE MERMAID or LITTLE MERMAID or LITTLE MERMAID toward people who aren't like them or LITTLE MERMAID sentiment or LITTLE MERMAID sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

| Saw a really bad car wreck in which two females got killed. Both of them got punched through a meat processor and I was kind of out of my mind in shock. Had a cheap plastic tarp in my truck that I was going to use to cover one of them up and as I was unfolding the tarp, a bit of humanity took over. I took my jacket off and covered her with it. Kind of weird how the unknown react to the unfortunate and try to preserve dignity of those recently gone. |
