Can your MP3 Playlist top this one?

Honestly, I have communed with Jesus Himself. He has told me, flat out, that this is the best playlist possibly conceivable. Maybe it was the Peyote talking, but something tells me that there's a higher power at work here.

Yeah Fender, a playlist of absolutely all pop music truly shows your bohemian qualities

p.s. Millie, for anyone who's ever said you were a mangina [i.e. everyone], I think your playlist once and for all puts that rumor to rest lol...

Pop? Ouch....that hurts.

Sure, I don't have a playlist full of zine-publishing, we-hate-everything, anti-mainstream bands like Against All Authority or the Dead Kennedys, but I would hardly consider my selections pop. Sorry, I dont rage against machines...I only listen to what sounds good to me.

After looking at Fenders list. I now picture you as wearing a Pink bobo,a cowboy hat,David Lee Roth tiger patterned pants, and a black netted wife beater shirt. Also shoes made by Van,with leotard leggings.

I like Millie's play list pretty much. Could add America,Horse With No Name in there also. Also Tom Chocren? Life is a Highway. Song came out when I was in 6th or 7th grade and stuck with me ever since.

Personaly I would like some old Alice in Chains in there also.

Still off base Fender...

Even Dead Kennedys, Rage Against the Machine and every other 2nd rate punk rock band you can think of is still POP music.

What I had in mind that you totally lack in the playlist is Jazz, Middle-Eastern, Classical, African shit, Oriental shit...

I suppose some people could define that stuff as pop music too, as pop means popular of course, but the point is your playlist can be more diverse...MUCH more diverse.

Bah, I have diversity! I don't feel like taking a screenshot, though.

I've lost a lot of MP3s from when I first started getting them in 97, I keep formatting and I never back up.

I've got a pretty good mix of 50s / 60s music, 70's disco / 70's classic rock /, 80's pop / 80's new wave / 80's hair / 80's punk / 90's pop / rock / heavy metal / country / techno

Plus, I have a pretty good collection of classical music.

I consider my collection way more eclectic than any of my friends, at least.

I appreciate a song if it sounds good, that's all that matters.

Also, I have over 100 Smiths MP3s, and that makes any collection look good!

i would have to say that fender's music is nto pop, if it is one genre of music maybe it is sorta mainstream but nothing major.

and yes having tiny dancer makes you COOL i got it oo

as a side nto has anyoen else changed thier attack music yet? i changed mine to the figh song by manson and "move bitch" by ludacris and the final one my disease by slipknot pretty decent but i will be switching them soon for much mo better tunes

The problem is that these are MP3s we're dealing with, not albums. My CD collection looks quite a bit different from my MP3 collection -- if only because it's easier to find the CDs from non-mainstream sources. When downloading MP3s, it's pretty much guaranteed that you're only going to find songs online that millions of other people have. That's why an MP3 list tends to look a bit more 'pop' or 'mainstream' than hardcore music fans usually consider appropriate.

P.S. - People need to stop bashing Oasis. They made a few good songs. I am sick of people who bash a group simply because the group was popular when they were in high school. "Oooh, Oasis had a multi-platinum album when I was in 9th grade! They suck!" I call bullshit. If it's good music, it's good music. Explain constructively and conclusively why you don't like a particular song on my list, and I'll think about it. But if your reasons are "umm...they suck," then you probably don't have very good reasons to begin with.
