WMC-TV: News, Weather, Traffic, Radar, and Sports for Memphis, TN; WMCTV.com | Isaac Hayes dies
MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Musician Isaac Hayes died early Sunday morning, according to Shelby County Sheriff's Department spokesperson Steve Shular.

A Shelby County sheriff's deputy responded to Hayes' home after his wife found him on the floor near a treadmill inside his home.

Hayes was taken to Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, where he was pronounced dead at 2:08am.

Deputies with the Shelby County Sheriff's Department are continuing their investigation into Hayes' death, but they believe no foul play was involved.

Clearly this was retribution for the South Park Scientology episode. Remember he was forced to quit South Park due to pressure from the Church? They probably let him live this long so it wouldn't seem suspicious. Unfortunately, his fate was ordained years ago by a secret cabal that probably included Cruise and Travolta.

QFT - Hayes never did anything for the show other than sing and have sporadic parts with the childrens. The songs were always written by Trey and they virtually ended after the first few seasons.

I'm interested in learning of some psychiatric dysfunction he had that went untreated because of his "faith" in Scientology. If there's not, who cares? People die all the time, and there's no reason to mourn Hayes over all the other people that die every year.
