| First car was a 96 Mitsubishi Eclipse I got about 7 years ago and was nothing but a money sink. Finally burned the motor out on it cause the transmission kept slipping and locking itself into 2nd gear. Spent at least 6k on fixing various things that went wrong with it on a car we spent 4k on. Lasted a good long time despite that. Body wasn't as nice as this either. ![]() My Current Car is a Saturn SE 2001 I got cause my sister wanted her piece of shit convertible more than this fairly nice car. Mine is green though and no tint. ![]() RX-8 I plan on getting soon as I get enough for a good down payment. Same color, and interior. ![]() |

| I drove by the Delorean factory in Houston the other day. Somewhere in the north part of Houston. There were like 5 Deloreans parked out front. Are they manufacturing them again?

| Got my first car in 1998. Bought it by myself. A Golf II CL (1983, if i remember well) Then my bro passed his driving license and blew up the engine... Got that great Golf II 16S Silverstone Edition (1988) Bro crashed it ... again... so i bought something he was afraid of... Honda CBR 600F (2000). First motorcycle, gosh I loved it! But under the rain and in the cold, there is nothing better than a car. I ended buyigng that Seat Leon Cupra 4 (2004) i still use. Updated the motorcycle 2 years ago. Suzuki GSXR-1000 K4 Colors are respected... but pics coming from google. |

+1 Internets | 1st/3rd Car - 1973 Ford Ranger F-100 Series Long Bed (pic is not actual truck owned, but similar) First car, got took. Was sold to me with a bad transmission. Spent about 700 dollars to get it fixed, lasted me about 7 months then I threw a rod, engine was capoot. Sold it to my best friends dad for about 200 bucks. My graduation present from my best friend's family was the truck. The dad happen to be a mechanic, and also did paint and body work on the side. He restored the truck (scrapped the 3 layers of paint off and repainted it), dropped a new engine in it, completely rewired the electrical and sold it back to me for 1000 bucks. I originally paid 2000 bucks for it with a broke tranny, and engine and it all beat up on the outside. 2nd Car - 1974 Plymouth Gold Duster Needless to say, lasted me 1 year, pretty reliable car. Didnt attract a lot of women, but it got me to my job, which is better than walking. Sold it to my uncle when I graduated for 1000 bucks, it promptly threw a rod. 4th Car - 1994 Toyota PU (forest green) Best, most durable care I have ever owned. I treated that thing like shit, infrequent oil changes, ramming it over curbs, I really beat it up. I used the hell out of it though. At the time I owned a Yamaha FZR600, and was in the military. Moved a lot of people, and when I went to say Myrtle Beach or to Atlanta to visit my family I would bring the bike along. I sold it after 6+years with about 106k miles on it, this thing came with 3 options: Floor mats, rear bumper and AC. I got 3500 bucks for with no radio to CarMax for cash. The AC promptly went out right after I sold it. 5th Car - 1997 Honda Accord (2dr, not 4dr as in pic) Another great car, less utility than the above, but it was equal durable and endured some harsh treatment in my younger douche driving years. Got me through college, and my first job, and contracting years. Got a really good deal on it, 13k with only 22k miles on it and 2yrs old. Was LX trim. Very nice looking car, especially the dash, I loved the dash layout on the accords. 6th Car - 1997 Honda Pilot Fully loaded with everything except Nav. Got DVD entertainment system, leather, heated seats etc etc. Nicest car I have ever driven, never thought I would own a car this nice. Where I have come from, to where I am now makes me grin a little. I worked my ass off for every nickel spent on these cars, I literally walked about 10 miles each way to Six Flags over GA for a summer to earn enough money to buy my first car. I remember being so god damn proud of myself driving my truck around.

+3 Internets | 2000 Expedition, this thing is a beast of a car, has over 100 k miles and is still running pretty well with the only problem being the windows not working anymore. 2005 FX4 F150 Bought it new, pretty nice car and hoping to keep it a while. Guzzles gas like a bitch though so I really have to restrict my driving whenever possible which is rather inconvenient considering I work full time and go out with friends basically every night. ![]() |

| First car: 74 Nova, a total money pit. Then again I was young and drove it like it was stolen. Next: 83 Chevette, possibly the best car I've ever owned. It was ugly as hell but ran great until a van pulled in front of it one day and it was totalled. Then: 88 Firebird, I got 180,000 miles out of this thing. Not a bad car, not a great one either. Current: 99 Ford Ranger XLT, going very strong and will probably get another 10 years out of it. It is competing for the Chevette's top honors. Commuter: 06 ZZR600, I commute in good weather on the bike now to save gas, and ride sometimes on the weekends. |
