There is no double standard because men and women are wired differently. Men are wired to plant their seed in as many healthy females as possible, whereas women are wired to find a mate who will protect them and take care of them. If a boy is doing it for emotional reasons (kinda like in the south park clip, lol) then they are at risk, but if it is a 14+ year old who is capitalizing on an opportunity to get some lovin, there is no harm.

Older men sleeping with 14 year old girls is 100% different.

The kids were between the ages 14-16 thats passed the age of consent in most places. Consensual sex isnt traumatic till you make it something "wrong". You really think there is something inherently damaging with getting some sex with either gender?

Something you are wired to seek out and enjoy on the most fundamental level. Whats going to fuck these kids up is the decade of psychoanalysis and being told how "wrong" it was. Situation goes from "dude i just got laid it was so awesome!!!" to "I was raped and i enjoyed it im a sick fuck!".

These kids could be gangbanging older chicks daily in the UK.

Mom banging friends in front of her son/daughter is a bit messed. It can cause problems with the kid at school, socially etc.

However, and yes I understand it was illegal in this situation, there is nothing at all "wrong" about a kid at 14 having sex with an older woman. As posted above it is a natural thing and I was desperatly trying to feel boobs and get into pants at 14. The law is messed because it was hardly assult or rape in this case. Any person of any age forcing themselves onto another, or manipulating a person via drugs/etc into sex, now that's wrong.

On the flip-gender of this it's just as much bullshit too. I knew whores at 16 and I know whores now. I am of the firm belief that if a 16 year old girls approaches a 30 year old man begging to do him for whatever reasons, is their business. I know I am going to get torn apart around here for saying this probably but it just doesn't make sense to me. Let people fuck, it's a natural and fun, stress relieving thing. Is every fuck a good decision? No, obviously not. But maybe it's time for the kid at 15/16 to learn for themselves. They are adult enough to decide they can deal with the consequences. We shelter our children too much from reality and they can, sometimes literally, get away with murder all because they "are not adults".

you just set up a double standard in your post. By your own words you say that women are wired to find a mate who will protect them and take care of them. I'm somehow sure a man (older for sake of arguement) who has a job, a stable living arrangement, and a life beyond his next science exam would better protect/take care of a female.

Not saying this is right, actually if an older man slept with my daughter when she gets to age I would probably invest in a shotgun, but there is a double standard here whether you want to admit it or not.
