Which is why classy is useless. Bean bag chairs win for comfort. And comfort > classiness.

I guess I don't understand how people can be so uncomfortable in normal furniture that they'd have to get a beanbag chair. If it hurts to sit in a normal chair for a few hours, develop better posture or something. :P

It doesn't hurt. It's just beanbags are better. Why have the lesser of 2 comforts just for looks? It's not like beanbag chairs are ugly. Sure they aren't classy, but they look fine. Friend's dad had some leather ones in the basement, looked fine. Just..don't sleep on them. Oh god. That morning hurt.

Also the same discourse as the plainer girl who is a demon in the sack and interesting to talk to...or the hot chick who is a dead fish in bed and whose diction contains about 10 words.

But my goal is not to just have beanbag furniture, but both it and normal furniture. And you pick what is most comfortable to you. To me, the beanbag wins hands down. Looks can go fuck themselves, not that they look bad even. I don't even get whats wrong with them. If someone judged my house lower because I had beanbag chairs, they aren't someone I would want to date/be friends with. And they don't have to ever come to my house~

I have one of these Sumos for a couple of reasons,

- I'm still in university so it's a cheaper alternative to going out and buying 'real' furniture. Also, I hate trolling craigslist looking for 'deals', although I wound up with a really nice sofa that I also have.
- I'm a tall guy and stretching out on couches when I'm reading or doing other shit is uncomfortable for me. I dunno why, but I can just veg in a bean bag for hours and be comfortable.
- Place I'm renting right now is pretty cramped and I have people over for various things. I have a loveseat/sofa, plus some padded chairs, plus a futon that doubles as a couch. Beanbag is a nice alternative, can be tossed in the closet when it's not being used, and can double as a crash pad for folks who have had too much to drink.

I'm sure once I'm a rich and successful I'll have a guest room and other nice things like that, but I make do with what I got for right now. It works for me.

Also, I gotta agree with the comfort > style thing.

When I was a little kid I smacked my little sister in the head with a beanbag chair that unbeknownst to me had a hunk of wood in it to add weight or something. That was ugly.
