300 bucks for a bean bag the size of a sofa isn't so bad. A reasonably good futon is around the same price, and a sofa is usually much more.

Bean Bag chairs are not temporary furniture. You have them in addition to other furniture. If my apt wasn't so small I'd totally order one. When the girl is over, you use the couch or whatever, if you're just wanting to game a bit, it's fucking awesome to chill in a bean bag chair.

Just don't sleep in it. Oh god, the pain in the morning is not worth it.

I don't know why everyone assumes that if you have a bean bag you don't own any furniture. I have a pretty decent natuzzi (Yeah its not B&B italia but it isn't shit either) sofa as it is. I'm just fucking blind and can't see my TV (50" plasma I'm amazingly not as ghetto as salshun assumes) well enough to play CoD/GTA from the sofa and hate wearing my contacts.

Edit: Just for Salshun, a really fucking expensive bean bag, and another. Now if you decided to tell me Ligne Roset is ghetto I just can't even imagine the furniture you must have in your house. On a completely different note I really wish I could afford the Maly bed, but $5k is waaayyy too pricey.

Since I'm somewhat bored at the moment.... Furniture i find interesting and way too expensive.

I swear to fucking god I'm going to start selling DVD rewinders in this thread and just clean the fuck up.
