| Registered User | Yes and heres my ghost story. My uncle harry lived in a hospice home the last year of his life he had AIDS was right down the road from spohn hospital. Every sunday like clockwork my father dragged me to visit my uncle at this home along with my grandparents ( i was in highschool at the time and dint have a choice in the matter). Like i said every sunday hospice home, after a few months we had got to know a few people that lived as well other then my uncle harry, one guy in paticular who had no family and never once had a visitor. For the life of me i cant remember this guys name, bare in mind this happened when i was 15 and im near 30 now. Anyways we will call the guy terry it might even be his name, anyways everytime we visited he was always sitting on the couch watching tv. We always stopped and visited with this guy before we went up to my uncles room, well one day like we always did we came inside and there was terry sitting on the couch watching tv. We sat and chatted with him what had to be 5 minutes easily, then proceeded upstairs to visit with my uncle. When we were leaving as normal we expected to see terry downstairs and tell him bye and we would see him next week. When we got downstairs terry wasnt there, so my grandfather called one of the nurses who was in the kitchen and told her to tell terry we were sorry we missed him on our way out, that we will see him again next week. The nurse then begin to explain to my family that terry had passed away, my grandfather shocked to hear the news (as well the rest of us to be honest) asked how there could not be no commotion, or how we could have missed an ambulance showing up. She then explained to us that terry had died on tuesday, my grandfather began to get very nervous and i dont know what exactly he thought to this day but he dint ever want to talk about it refused to believe the conversation we had with a dead man actually took place.

| The closest I got to a ghost story was waking up in the middle of the night and feeling an arm around me, then I looked to the side and there was no one there. My vision was blurry so I couldnt see what was going on, but I could still feel the arm. I was able to touch this arm... and that creeped me out... 30-50 seconds later I realized it was my own hand that had fallen asleep and I lost all feelings on that hand. Then there is the usual being able to hear someone call my name when there is no one around. Or hear weird sounds in the middle of the night. See shadows moving in that look like "living" things when there is nothing around. All that being my head playing tricks on me... I think its ridiculous that people actually believe these things are actually ghost encounters. But some people swear by it and there is no way to change their minds. Ghost encounters are similar to alien encounters or religious experiences. I wonder why Christians believe in ghosts. I have yet to see somewhere in the bible where it talks about ghosts. |

| I've never seen a ghost, but I had a white noise experience? I think that's what it's called and I'm wondering if it's happened to anyone else. I was probably 15 or 16 at the time and I usually fall asleep with my TV on. I woke up in the middle of the night to hear a loud buzzing static sound.... so I figured my TV was just on an off air channel. But it was actually muted and it was on a channel with a black screen with no sound. So I turned my TV off, and the sound still wouldn't go away and to no avail turning it off and on 3 more times didn't help. I just kept hearing the loud buzzing for about 5 minutes until I fell back asleep. I'm guessing it's just a case of being able to hear a low frequency, but at the time I was spooked out by it. I thought I heard some other odd sounds like breathing/whispers, but I was half asleep at 3 or 4 a.m. ~~~ I was always suspicious of my childhood home though because we found a legit prosthetic leg under it when we were fixing a vent problem. But I never saw anything and if I did I probably blocked the memory out. |

| Call me when a ghost appears at the Superbowl, and 80,000 people see it all at the same time. Thanks. If ghosts existed visibly, more credible people would have seen them, and groups of people would have seen them already. Someone would have real, concrete video of a ghost somewhere if they existed. NO credible video or pictures of ghosts exist, because no one has actually seen them. |
