Okay, I've never seen a ghost. Considering that the one time I heard a ghost, I was half asleep, so it was just dreaming.

As for Poutine, I just happened to come back from Coteau du Lac (sw of Montreal) on business for 4 days, and it's not bad. Lived in Florida all my life and it was the first time I've ever had it.

So I find it a little strange that the mere mention of Poutine grosses people out. I bet most people haven't even tried it. Put some bacon bits on it too for even more goodness. =P

anecdotal evidence is obviously not enough to prove anything. duh. the mind and eye can play a bazillion tricks when you're in an atmosphere that raises your senses in such manner.

but we're also human though. and it's foolish to completely disregard the human experience. so one should approach anecdotal with skepticism obviously, but it's dumb to completely disregard it, too. at best, you could use such evidence as a sort of guide or stepping stone.

concerning real evidence like tapes and audio. obviously most of it is forged, but again, it's dumb to claim ALL of it is. like i said previous, applying science is bad here, but doing that is even applying it incorrectly.

the problem is that many groups say please bring us evidence of ghosts. okay, but ANYTHING that is caught on ANY media could be forged. there's no way to say "this evidence proves a ghost" because it can be forged. that's why it's an impossible claim and those groups are asking for something that cannot be done.

if you want to know if ghosts exists or not and you REALLY want to apply science, then do the research yourself. this isn't space exploration. you can go to these supposed 'haunted' places. go to the abandoned prison at night with equipment and your personal observations (as objective as possible) and see what you find. if you find something you cannot explain, then for you it's evidence. for everyone else, it's a forgery.
