Salshun, I've got your back. Most of what you said I totally agree with. I don't want a doormat, or a yes woman. And just because your woman is smart and willing to not just eat every bit of shit you shovel her, doesn't necessarily mean that she'll control your whole life. Because chances are, if the woman is everything you've described, she'll have her own friends, interests and hobbies outside of the relationship that she wants to spend time on. We don't control each other and while yes, I have friends that I am allowed to hang out with whenever I want if I have plans with my girl already, I don't. With most guys here, they're either in relationships or have had them in the past. So even if I disagree with their opinion, at least they're talking from experience. However, as I said, Arbitrary is a straight up virgin living in his parent's basement. I'm truly amazed how anyone stays in a long-term committed relationship. I've been in my fair share of them (3 years, 2 years, 2 years, and 1.5 years,), but really I just get bored of fucking the same person all the time, and end up cheating unless I happen to be working too much to cheat. I litterally can't help myself. I've come to the conclusion that at best I'm a serial monogamist, and at worst I'm just a cheating fucker.

I'm the same way. I've never managed to maintain a relationship past about 6 months. I just lose interest. Even with super awesome chicks that are fun to hang out with, low maintenance and great in the sack, eventually I just get to the point where it's just like "meh" when I think of them. Several friends have suggested that I am perhaps dead inside. The flip side is I have no interest in shallow, sex only relationships.

I'll just go ahead and call myself gay.

Also to the guy with the boobs in his avatar, i agree with you. Don't listen to these 18 year olds with that dumbass mentality. You just have a more mature view on relationships and most people just can't get to that point without fucking up a bunch along the way.

I will however agree with the people that are basically saying that they are threatened by a women that doesn't use them as the focus of their life. I find this both threatening and very liberating, and am unsure which I prefer.
