And seriously, if you're going to buy bottled water, buy this shit: Earth Water International - Home A friend of mine started it a few years ago, and at least the profits are going to something good. Although so far they really aren't making that much money, and having a very difficult time getting shelf space. | |

| Fiji water is the most overpriced item I've ever seen. It's really not that different from other brands of bottled water. The only difference is the ridiculous price tag, actually. A friend of mine used to consult for BCG and spent some time in Fiji with the Fiji bottling company. She didn't even have to pay for the stuff for 6 months, and she says it's no different from any other bottled spring water. You're paying for the transportation costs and the up-market branding. |

| It probably won't be artesian for too long if they overpump the aquifer. I wonder if they'll bother to rename the water once the aquifer is depressurized to the point of no longer being artesian. |

+5 Internets | Well, people are all up on the oil companies but they don't seem to care about water bottling companies who at best simply filter the water and have far less regulations then city water supplies. Like the vid said, they're pretty much selling you water for much more ten gasoline. Those videos posted by Neph were very informative. I personally use brita and the two large nalgene bottles it came with. Their new pitcher design looks pretty good too. Sometimes the water coming out of my faucet has a light odor that i don't like. Refrigerated/filtered water is the way to go =p. Tap water is generally safe for you (probably as safe if not safer then a lot bottled water) and your filtering it for more piece of mind/removal of anything weird. Each brita filter probably lasts a pretty long while. I've probably had at least 30 gallons (i don't count). Also i can see the apeal of a women who's just ready to get down with it relatively drama free. Although I wouldn't quite go to cougar level, maybe milfs 35 and under.
