I don't really know anything about this stuff, but just wanted to chime in and say how cool it all looks.

So these are just blank game models you custom color to make your own armies? Some of the schemes I've seen so far have been wicked.

I myself used to play 40k but realized that the rules started to suck and their stuff was going from pewter to plastic and getting MORE expensive. So I basically stopped playing. However I LOVE to see all the different figures and how people paint them. Here is a great site that you could spend hours just looking at stuff...

Yes, these are just blank plastic or metal models that you put together and paint. Most of these are Warhammer 40K figures. As soon as I get ahold of a camera I'll post a picture of my little Ogre Kingdoms army from WHFB.

To keep with the trend of pictures though, the new Cold One Knights look totally awesome.

I used to play a Dark Elf army and heard about the new models. It looks like they aren't updating all of the models, just the ones in the new boxed set.

What doesn't make sense to me is, if this is true then will old models like the chariot still use the old cold one models? I was hoping for new dark riders personally.

Ever since they split the army up (Went from Dark rider/scout mass dice rolls) to this Malekith vs Morderi his mom abomination I quit.

Was my first army ever and I will always remain loyal to Naggaroth and Rick Priestly.

Any place other then ebay to get miniatures cheap? I stumbled onto some high elf spearmen/bowmen from like, 10 years ago, and it was more or less similar to finding a pot of gold.

Or any of you selling your old armies? Have some friends wanting to get into it but I'm not painting another 100+ models for them.

This guy sells GW models at 20% below the list price. I haven't yet ordered from him but he's gotten good reviews from a few people I know.
