Finally the thread returns... on the night they're performing maintenance , thank you though. A lot of stuff happened since the other thread was locked down, including 4 of the hotter regular girls on the site getting in the nude all in the same room. I'll work on uploading videos or screen caps later on since I know the thread will actually be returning.

One thing is for sure though, the FoHSS presence has dwindled down greatly on this site since the other thread got shitcanned. Maybe move this back to the 'SS for a week or so Millie so other people can get involved? Pleebthankx.

I'm very hesitant to move this back to SS, seeing as how I kept giving the previous thread a million chances and people kept posting what amounted to kiddie porn on it and/or refusing to understand why they weren't allowed to. I think ideally, this tread could serve as a filter system for Yahoo crap, FOH letting it's own know the channels worth a crap, and which ones that are age-questionable with 600 "keyboard on head" spammers.

Normally I don't care, but it has been said by many many people that FoH is a place for gamers and game developers to come visit and read moderately constructive comments about game development and ideas.

I don't see how trolling jailbait in an attempt to spam them with requests of shoe / keybard / waffle / "FoH" on head / ass / tits really furthers this boards image as a somewhat reputable place for videogame players.

You're preaching to the choir, and I agree with you. But a general interest, if nothing more than a morbid, car accident rubbernecking fancy, has been demonstrated by a great number of people on this site. Hell I think the restarting of this thread shows that it's believed not all the stuff on there is crap, and their is something enjoyable on it that isn't stupid, pathetic, illegal, or perverted. I watched one with 2 guys debating early Pearl Jam Vs. newer stuff once that was awesome. It's not all the 18, uh I mean 16, uh I mean 20 girls offering to get naked at 600 users. I don't remember, ever, Millie making a bonehead or poorly thought out move, and in restarting this thread, she's attempting to appease the forum members while keeping order. I thik if it was generally accepted that the Yahoo site was 100% bad news, this tread would still be shawed.

But as a whole, I agree the site is more bad than good, and the bad is pretty bad. Yahoo really needs some new rules, constraints, but it's a little impossible to do something like verify age from someone shooting from their bedroom. And I also agree, no board wants to be the next 4chan. I've seen those guys spam "keyboard on head" 100 times a minute in those rooms, and I would say it's the first time someone acted so stupid in a chat room it embarrassed me. Knowing a girl is 16 with 100 adults in a room asking for titties is pretty bad, and I think isn't something you should be going "man, I wonder how FOH will respond to this?" I mean fuck FOH for a minute, that shit should raise some "not cool, must go" flags in all normal people.

I think the vast majority of industry professionals and others looking for serious discussions about gaming know not to come to Screenshots looking for those serious dicussions. So, in that sense, I don't think a thread like this is hurting the overall credibility of fohguild.org.

At the same time, I can't permit illegal activity to take place on these boards. So a thread like this walks a very fine line at all times. I don't particularly see what the fuss is about with Yahoo Live. It's very clearly not my cup of tea. But a lot of people seem to like it, and my job isn't to begrudge people their fun.

At any rate, as I've said, this thread is on a tight leash. It's getting a "second" chance, but will not get a third. People can have their fun, but illegal stuff can and will put an end to that fun very quickly.
