Here's mine. Mostly Ace2, with some irreplaceables like ItemRack.

Someone asked for a viewport addon earlier in the thread. I'd like to add there's an ace2 variant called Aperture, available through the WAU.
Also, I was a long-time user of Prat, but recently switched to Chatter and haven't looked back.

Doesn't it irritate you guys that half of your screen is being taken up by UI?

Why the fuck anyone would want their name above their head 24/7 is beyond me.

It's like you're running around casting spells and shit with your character in the middle of the screen going, "Oh... FUCK, what is my characters name? Shit, that's right, it's Nuklear that's it! Thank god I had my name right there or I'd be in a heap of trouble!"

Probly cause were use to seeing it like that since UO and EQ,and its a tad jarring not to have it like that.

I pretty much only PVP so I rarely use any UI elements so most are turned off. Almost everything is hotkeyed either on my mouse or my Nostromo pad.Only thing I use the keyboard for is to type, which I rarely have to do since im on Vent.

I pretty much play WoW like a console game.

I played EQ and even then I wanted to gouge my eyes out. Maybe I'm crazy but I think I've stated before my hate for useless shit on the screen.

For instance... why do people feel the need to see a 3D-avatar of their character next to their own health/mana bars? That shit drives me bonkers.

Or in a raid I shut off people's guild tags and titles... why do you need to see 24 other guild tags that take up the screen... you obviously know they're in your guild.

...Or seeing your bag icons. Jesus christ make a button to open all your bags or get a mod that makes all your bag space into a square. More screen real estate there.

Fubar is the worst mod ever "Hey let's display information that is pointless, its not like people can't press to see how much durability or press ctl-r to see their FPS!"

I could go on by I'll stop. People have weird UI preferences I guess.

I like having some option menus on fubar, and a few other useful gadgets like name toggle and xp/faction display.

Can't say I'm a fan of viewports.

The only things of note in my screen are that the two bars on the left are normally hidden, I just had them open to move around a hotkey or two (IE switching from GoA to WF to Wrath of Air is a rare enough occurrence that I have only one hotkey for 'air' totems and just change the spell when need be) and that I haven't finalized the placement of Quartz and player/target/ToT windows. The 3 large buttons down there server dual purposes: first, they're range finders for shock, lightning bolt and heal, and second, I can click them to cast Bloodlust, Fire Elemental and Earth Elemental, which, again, are rare enough occurrences that I don't feel the need for a hotkey.

I try and go for a really clean UI. I'm using Sunn Viewports with this, it purts the artwork on the bottom as well. It's more just for lining up my other UI elements on. All those crowded UI's would give me eye cancer trying to play on them.

as far as i can tell the "crowded-ness" of a ui is based simply off of the resolution. a huge widescreen is easily going to have a cleaner ui than a small laptop.
