edit: the only reason I know I got laid is because that was the first night I got the tattoo, and had to exclude some positions to the chagrin of both me and her edit2: standing up for yourself on the internet is gay

| Pointyboot, thats a solid piece, the linework is really accurate. I'm not falling over myself for sugar skulls but as far as tattooing is concerned you couldn't do better than that for an outline. I like it. |

+7 Internets | I have been working on an idea for a tattoo lately. I have been real unsure about what I would want to put on my body, but I know what i want now. I have a couple of pieces i can show you as to what i am trying to accomplish. Keys have a lot of meaning to me (mainly because of my grandfather), so I have always wanted some kind of Key tattoo. For awhile it was going to be just a big key on my arm or back, but I have taken a liking to those spiderweb tattoos that people put on their elbows. Now, I like the idea behind them, but I do not want the same thing, so I came up with an idea with key rings with a bunch of keys on them (the first pic will kind of show what I am talking about with this) Now, the keys will not all be the same. Each key will have meaning and represent something in my life. I hope to have it set up so i can continue to add keys and eventually start on the other elbow. I may even get a little more specific with what the keys mean. I am still working on things, but this is what i have so far: The 2 keys that are the same, but one is smaller = Me and my son. It's also a logo I use in the signature of all my art. The key with the heart = I have loved before. The key that looks like a pencil = my artistic talent. The broken key = I have been hurt before. The key with the compass = That i have been lost in life, but I will find my way. These drawings are not perfect. Just quick sketches. Once I am satisfied with what I want and I am done making changes, I will make the final copies of what will be going on my body. |

| I have this on my back, between the upper part of my shoulder blades and reaches up onto my neck. I had them use red instead of orange and the gemini in the middle doesn't suck like it does in my rendering. The white of the gemini is actually just bare skin (no color). Created myself blah blah. |

| I've been somewhat afraid of posting in here for a while, but I'll add in the work I got done back when I was 19 (Damn, that was a decade ago already?) It was something a friend of mine drew and I ended up converting it to a tattoo after they took their own life. Even though it's cliche, I got it on the center of my back, my guardian angel looking over me all the time. Fast forward 10 years and I'm ready for something new. I'm falling in love with some of the Derek Hess pieces floating around, but I can't seem to really find anything that truly stands out to me. I totally dig Zeste's piece on his arms though. Have to love the good/evil/man between bit. I like the bottom portion, I think it's called "Descent from Grace" but can't seem to find a good sample piece to bring in anywhere to get quoted at the two shops I've had some ink done. I'll attach the "original" that I was able to find though in hopes someone knows of one that doesn't have the additional stuff around the head. I just like something about that piece. |

+69 Internets | I just had my tattoo artist trace the "Descent from Grace" without the words around the head, but also redo the style to match the angel/devil that was already on my arm. the version you posted is the only version I know of, that's how Hess originally drew it. I usually take the stencil sheet, but I don't think I have that one. EDIT: here's a high res pic in case you want to show your artist.

The whole book is illustrated with "new" stuff just for the book. The devil/angel were from a page in there, but they were only about each the size of a nickel. I scanned it and printed it out and brought it to the artist. They are technically part of a whole page which is sorta like a collage, but right when I saw them I instantly knew I wanted to get it tattooed.

| Kind of been thinking I wanted to get something done. Was thinking of something like this. But it wouldnt stop at the top, I'd want it to kind of flow a little bit down the left side of my back aswell. anyone have any thoughts on it? Comments? Not really doing it to be a trendy douche. Would have meaning behind it :P
