Find something inert that's a reasonably close match, disinfect it with some salt water or boil it and bob's your uncle. Pens, knitting needles, tapers, whatever.
Lobes shouldn't close up all that easily, unlike nipples or tongues so you'll probably be ok.

My concern was when i am sleeping tonight, i am not sure how well id be able to sleep with a pen or knitting needle in my ear.

here comes a follow up semi related question....

Since i have to buy a replacement set tomorrow anyway, and say i want to go from a 10 to a 6 do i just make sure my hands are clean and stuff those fuckers in? or is there information i lack ( cause it feels like i do )

turns out it wasn't half as bad as i was expecting it to be.....

i just lubed those bitches up with some antibacterial soap and pushed them in, no blood, no tearing, just throbbing pain for a couple hours which i quickly forgot about once i began drinking cold beverages that night....

Well having my ears at a inch. I can offer some advice if your ever curious. Such as vitamin intake , stuff to use for lubes , and materials to avoid when choosing earrings. As well has websites for piercings that are trustworthy.

Dude if it had true personal meaning to you then you wouldn't give a fuck what other people think. If you are worried it's really that stupid of an idea which would be made fun of to an extent that you're worried to reveal it before it gets done... then what the fuck are you doing? I remember you from back in the EQ days, I always kinda suspected you were at least mildly retarded... but I see now you made the transition through puberty since then with flying colours. People give me crap about my idea for a tattoo all the time, but I just ignore them. It means something to me, so that is that. =P

On the topic of stretching ears again, I personally think that if you want to have them stretch quicker, but do it at a safe pace, get heavier plugs, either made of metal, or get some large captives. The weight of a heavier plug seems to stretch them at a better pace.

Captives are a bitch to take on and off though, I hate those little balls that keep them together, usually you need a pair of special pliers to get them off. =P
