If they would embrace the fact it's fake, I could potentially have some respect for it. But as long as douchebag wrestlers pretend to actually have some sort of skill or be better than the person they're scripted to win against, they're all retards. It's not even an act. Television shows don't have cheering fans and (rigged) championships.

Well Brock Lesnar is doing okay in UFC. They are quite skilled showmen, many have Wrestling/Football and even some Dancing backgrounds, all are "Actors" and really Wrestling is Soap Opera for Men. But cooler. I think every grown man realizes Pro Wrestling is fake, but they still watch it with a fervor that is only matched by females watching Young and the Restless.

Context fails all of you. Wrestling is fake, UFC isn't. Lesnar, even though he was in "Pro Wrestling" is still doing well in UFC. They are ALL great atheletes.

UFC is fake? Interesting. Only watched a couple and I had genuinely liked it simply because it was (looked) real.

The problem with "watching it with a fervor" is that the person who wins is absolutely meaningless. It would be the equivalent of going to an episode of House early in the season and cheering for Amber or Cole not to get voted off because it's "real" medicine and you're cheering for your doctor with a "fervor." It is so incredibly pretentious to declare winners in a rigged activity. Want to see 2 guys beat the shit out of each other? Great. Have it be rigged so that no one is legitimately hurt and the thrills are maximal? Even better. Declare one of the 2 better than the other at the end? Horseshit. They're both actors and one had to lose. That doesn't make the other any better or deserving of any accolades.

They need to have person A kick the shit out of person B, then at the end have B stand up to show it was fake, get some cheers from the audience and cut. No ridiculous championships. No bullshit "I'm going to kick your ass!" interviews. Pretending, even for a moment, that it's real makes you a douchebag. Makes no difference whether you, I, or even they know it's fake. If they actually try and pretend it isn't, they can rot in hell.
