The whole thing is just kind of weird.... I'd almost go so far as to say staged, or ulterior motives of some sort.

In reading around a few articles, we have a car, which is worth about $1.5 million, just drifting off into the lake. No swerving, its like the guy was asleep. He was a straight road, so its not like he wasn't looking and the road curved. The guy then apparently just leaves the car on while its halfway submerged for about 15 minutes till the engine dies. Maybe he's clueless?

Well apparently, he is the owner of an exotic car repair shop, and a fairly famous one at that. He is also the owner of the Enzo that that one actor crashed. So being the owner of a repair shop he obviously knew he should have shut the engine off.

Last we have the video. There are only like 15 of these in the entire US, and it just so happens that these guys are filming the car as it drifts off the road?

Being the owner of an exotic repair shop, its almost like someone dared him to drive it into a lake and video tape it.

I dunno, the whole thing just seems fishy. No pun intended.
