Cat beards?

So my brother and I just had a dispute over whether cats have beards/facial hair....

Sometimes.

more like goatees. I've had cats that definitely have different hair on their chin, it was longer and coarser, like a goatee.

Not cats, but the way my dog has some frilly white hair around his mouth makes it look like he's sporting some facial hair.
