They could even have like...varying rings, a water one.. a jungle, a mountain.

They need to bring back gladiator combat. Fights to the death. I'd pay to see it. And I'm sure a lot of people would do it. Who cares about some animals fighting, I'd rather see some guys with swords and shields trying to kill each other.

If you were to modernize Gladiator style fight to the deaths. What aspects would you bring with you from the romans and what weapons/hazards would you take from modern society to add to the event?
