Sorry to make a new thread, but need quick help. Trying to impress someone with my 'amazing knowledge'... that i dont have... anyways, where was this pic taken? Its in some mountain area, not sure if its US, probably not.

There are words on the banners in the pic. Figure out what language all of are in and there is your best clue on where it is. Unless someone chimes in on the architecture.

I would say the first 4 letters could be Cabb .. and the word below could start with M.

Yeah, I already tried blowing up the pic, but its too darned blurry.

As for the letters, it does look like 'Cabb' and an 'M', but still no idea.

I am going to guess its probably a hot ski spot, so I was hoping someone would chime in and know what it is.

just find one of those maps with all the states and countries colored and look for the one that's all white like that. THAT is where that picture is taken.

Oh and I think that is somewhere in NY. I am assuming this because those banners were hung up in Albany, the capital, a few years ago when I lived there. That is, unless there is a language other than English on them. In that case I would say the banners are stock and widely used.
